It was obvious Careem had a death wish. Just minutes ago Nikki was hell bent on ending his life, but now that the moment had come, she could not even pull the fucking trigger.

“Kill me!” Careem barked. He pressed his forehead against the barrel of the gun. “Did you hear me you dumb bitch?! I said kill me! Kill me! Shoot me! Pull the fuckin’ trigger already!” Spittle flew from his mouth as he shouted. “KILL ME!”

“Nooooo!” Nikki cried slowly lowering her weapon. Tears spilled over her lower lids. “I…I can’t…,” she finally admitted.

Careem stared down at Nikki in disgust, and shook his head. “You’re a weak bitch,” he told her. “You and Hassan really did belong together.”

Nikki looked down at the dirty tile beneath her feet. She could not even meet his gaze after that remark.

“Ya’ll mothafuckas cut from the same cloth,” he said.

Without another word, Careem slowly exited the men’s restroom.
